Day Five ~ Missing Kingston

My parents left today... so I guess I really am going to be here for a full month. I really really miss my Kingston friends... I talk to them online when I get the chance to though.
I still don't have any friends here... or at least friends my age...

I am yet again very very tired so I'm going to keep this short.
We didn't really do anything today soo.... yeah. It's getting really really hot... and since it's so dry my skin is really angry... I'm all scaly like a lizard ;___; I need to moisturize. Maybe I'll do that later....

So I guess I'm gonna go to bed or something.

Day Four ~ Tired

I would do a nice long detailed report on the day... but I am seriously tired... so to summarize:
we saw a nice view from the mountains, I finally got a new bathing suit (two tops), saw Pearl Street, bought as really really pretty new ring from an awesome store (It's a Goddess ring), watched HSM 3, and now I am getting ready for bed.

I miss my friends a lot. I'm a bit homesick... I hope I get over that soon though. There are a bunch of things that still need taking care of in Kingston... so I hope I can still sort them out when I get back. *sigh* I will only miss you until August.

Day Three ~ Boulder Colorado

Finally at Pat ans Caroline's!

We had our post-Canada day party with some of the neighbours and kinda got a fell for what it's like. I still haven't met everybody... but the people who I have encountered seem nice. There wasn't anybody my age though... except Pat is planning on setting up a meeting with some girl named Candice... she's an athlete from what I hear, and total opposite from me. Hopefully we get along :3

I really miss being with all my Kingston friends... I miss you guys. aha... only a month... and maybe I will make some friends out here. As far as the boy report goes there are none... and probably won't be... (kinda sad, but at the same time probably good for me). I don't need boys to have a good time... besides... I like the Canada boys better. :3

Gracie, the cat, is so friendly. She's sleeping with me tonight.... although I heard she nips toes and if you don't lock the bathroom door she'll peep on you. haha. A peeping Tom (quite litterally). Lola the dog is also very nice. She is a standard Poodle and absoloutly gorgeous... and her additude is very Ari-like.

The mountain view here is breathtaking and I wish I could bring it back home with me... I can at least take a lot of pictures. I am here for about a month...

the time zone here is about two hours earlier than the one back home, and I still haven't adjusted... I am really really tired right now because of that and should probably head on to bed now. I will probably be able to type better and make more sense after I have had some decent rest...

Day Three ~ Colorado

We have finally arrived in Colorado!
We just passed the welcome center and took pictures with the Pony Express statue. It isn’t as hot as I thought it would be here… so far… but then again it’s only about 11:11am (did you make a wish?). We should be at Pat and Caroline’s in about three hours. That almost seems like no time at all compared to the 19 hours displayed on the GPS a few days ago.

The road trip is ending just in time I think, because we’re all starting to lose it just a bit… there seems to be a very faint bitterness in the air… once we get some rest it will be nice. I always found traveling to be very tiring… I never imagined spending three full days in a car before would be so exhausting.

I still don’t have a bathing suit, and I don’t think we are going to be stopping again… oh well. I can wait for a little while longer I guess. I don’t really need to swim. I bought sunscreen so I should be fine… Pat and Caroline probably have AC as well.

Everything out here is very… plain you could say. It isn’t flat like in Illinois but there seems to be a lot less houses and stuff. Even if there weren’t that many : P I will post an update at some point tonight if I’m not too tired from the post-Canada day party we’re having. Haha.

Day Two ~ Motel

We have been on the road for over 12 hours now.
We were going to keep on going but decidced that we had had enough of the car for one day... right now I am writing this from litterally the middle of nowhere. Good internet reception though :)

On our way here we passed "Normal" which made me laugh. I hope we get to see more crazy places like that.

We're leaving at seven tomorrow morning so that we can get to Colorado by about one. *sigh* I STILL need a bathing suit. We did go to Target today 9which was a little dissapointing) but the bathing suit I liked didn't come in my size. We may stop at another one tomorrow, so hopefully that one will have it :3

Now... I did say that I would post pictures, but I am too lazy to upload them... ahahah... and I think that the chord is still in the car. I promise that those pictures will be posted... someday.

Day Two ~ On the Road

We're still on the road... just at a rest stop at the moment. I'm surprised that the wi-fi even works here!

since this morning we've had a long day in the car... the pancake house was awesome! I don't even like pancakes, but it was still pretty nice :3 We just stopped by the "Kum and Go" gas station (lol) I got pictures so I will post them later with yesterday's as well.

I only have about two minutes left, so I will update again later from our next Motel (we have another five hours or something to go before we can stop again : P long day) We should arrive in Colorado some time tomorrow... according to the GPS we have about nine hours or so left. But I don't know if the time zones affect that... I hope not. haha.

Day Two ~ Morning

I just woke up from the most terrifying dream of my life. I dreamt that I was having a party with all of my friends, and we were having such a great time watching the Swan Princess... people were eating Gummi Bears, except for Todd and I... I don't eat them because of the gelotine... I don't know what Todd's reasons were.

Suddenly the people in the movie started to deform into these really grotesque looking zombies, so we looked away from the screen, but couldn't help but see the reflection in a random painting to our right. It was really disgusting! when we looked back towards the screen, eveerybody else in the room was also transforming!

IT WAS THE GUMMI BEARS O____O

They all came at us at once and we had to flee to somewhere safe... my best friends... all trying to kill me because of some Gummi Bear malmanufacturing!

I have never slept so poorly in my life. I plan on sleepinh in the car for about 10 hours : P

We are headed to Sophia's Pancake House now for breakfeast... I hope the dream isn't a reflection on the rest of my day!

Day One ~ Interstate 69

Hey!
Right now I am posting this from some random motel called the Red Roof Inn. It's somewhere around Chicago if that helps :3
So far the trip has been pretty good... It took me a while to get even one bar of connection from the Pizza Hut across the street though... at leat I got on! Today was pretty smooth. I hasve not gotten sick from travelling in the car yet, so all is well!
We stopped at Big Boy for lunch... I swear... everything on their menu is very very fatty... haha. And mostly non-vegetarian. I guess right now you could say that I am a vegetarian in a meat eater's territory?

I do have pictures from today but I probably won't be able to post them for a while. Oh well. They will be up soon. I got some interesting ones with Big Boy himself.

Last night we spent the night in Brantford. It was quite nice :3 I really love being able to visit Leslie and Scott. And Audrey and Izzy are starting to get so big! I wish I had gotten some pictures with them because they are just sooo cute! I got to go to the volunteer appreciation at Audrey's school with Dee Dee. It was so cute! :3 there was this one little girl who sang for the parents, and she was suprisingly amazing! Makes me sad that I never went into the singing stuff when I was little... haha. oh dear, I miss Archie ;___;

Bob says that we have about 17 or so hours to go until we actually get to Colorado.... *sigh* I have a lot of entertaiunment though. I watched all six episodes of FLCL in the car the other day, and I have loads of music... I was also smart and brought a portable charger so I don't have to turn the computer on every single time. It is very convienent!

haha we were travelling on the Interstate 69 all day. It made me laugh a little because I am immature about those things... and it made me think of Baby. (I love you!)

Also, while we were passing through Michigan I couldn't help but think of Georaphy class last year with Bear... (I love you too!)

Anyhoo, I mis you all to pieces. I shall try to update again tomorrow night!

Day Zero ~ Packing

Tomorrow I set our for my big long Summer trip to Colorado (Colour + Red). I have been looking forward to this since the Winter break! I should have probably stayed home to pack the rest of my stuff and do laundry... but I had to go to school XP

I am going to be packing pretty light... so I guess it isn't too bad. My suitcase is HUUUUGE! It's nice because I am bringing a bunch of random other things... like the Four GIANT volumes of Kenshin that Will lent me (thank you!), and my video camera and stuff. I got a new iPod special for this trip too. It has 30GB of space on it, which is nice because my old one only had about 4.

I have about one hundred envelopes with me, so friends : expect a letter or two! I plan on writing at least one every other day or something like that. I may never even get around to it... who knows... but I really would like to! :D

Tomorrow we will be heading out for Brantford and spending the night with my aunt and uncle. It's Friday that we will actually be heading out for Colorado. It's pretty intense... I will be trapped in a car for two or three days! Damn am I ever looking forward to THAT. I will have to have some Gravol at the ready so that I don't get sick all over the place. We do have a bunch of games and movies and stuff so I guess it won't be terrible.... It's just gross how we won't be showering really until we get there (ew)... and it is really really really hot (ew again).

I hope I get to meet some awesome people around my age while I am there. I want to make some friends that I can hang out with. :3 My aunt and uncle still have a pretty cool place though. There's a pool with a hot tub attached to it, and stuff like that. I might even get to work on my barista skills while I'm there with their fancy espresso machine! oooh lucky me! aha.

This is only Day Zero because I am still in the midst of packing and trying to get movies on my iPod (Loveless).
